I wanted to provide an update regarding Mobile phone theft, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey. Good news – we’re pleased to share that there have been no reported phone thefts in the area for nearly a month 👏 This is a positive step, and we’d like to thank the community for working with us and continuing to report concerns. We will keep up high-visibility patrols to maintain this progress. 📱 Phone Safety Tips: To help keep yourself and your belongings safe:
Stay aware of your surroundings, especially in busy areas Avoid using your phone near the edge of pavements or roads Keep your phone secure and out of sight when not in use Be cautious when approached or distracted by others Consider using tracking apps and enabling security features (e.g. PIN/biometrics)
💬 We’re here to help: Please continue to report any concerns to us via 101, or call 999 in an emergency. We remain committed to keeping our community safe. Thank you for your continued support.
We are working on our brand-new strategy for how we police London and we want your help. Our New Met for London: Phase 2 strategy will guide how we deliver on behalf of Londoners over the next three years. |
